Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This page is maintained by the Trackr team to answer common privacy questions about the Trackr app. Trackr helps you track job applications and provides an optional AI copilot; the details below cover what we collect, how we use it, and the controls you have.

1. Data we collect

When you use Trackr, we collect the information you provide directly: your email address, name (if you enter one), password (stored hashed, never in plain text), job applications, companies, contacts, notes, and any content you paste into the AI copilot. We also log basic technical information — IP address, browser type, and timestamps — for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use your data

Your data is used to run Trackr for you: to display your pipeline, generate AI briefs on demand, send transactional emails (password resets, receipts), and process payments if you upgrade to Premium. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to train third-party AI models.

3. AI processing

When you use AI features (link parsing, weekly brief, company insights), the relevant content is sent to our AI provider strictly to generate the response for you. Requests are not used for provider-side model training. AI runs only when you explicitly trigger it.

4. Subprocessors

We rely on a small set of trusted services:

  • Lovable Cloud & Supabase — application hosting, database, and authentication.
  • Stripe — payment processing for Premium subscriptions.
  • Lovable AI Gateway — AI model routing for copilot features.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can export a full copy of your data or delete your account at any time from Settings → Account. Deletion removes your applications, contacts, notes, activity, and profile within 30 days. Backups roll off within 90 days.

6. Cookies & analytics

Trackr uses a small set of first-party cookies required for authentication and session management. We use privacy-friendly, cookie-less product analytics — no cross-site tracking, no ad networks.

7. Your rights

You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from Settings. If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you additionally have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Access to production systems is limited and logged. Row-level security scopes every database query to your account. We recommend using a unique, strong password — Trackr checks new passwords against public breach databases.

9. Contact
